The New Orleans Community Print shop is an association of printers and educators committed to providing programming and resources to local artists, printmakers students and entrepreneurs. Partnering with organizations and Institutions throughout New Orleans, The New Orleans Community Printshop is in search for a new location. We are dedicated to providing The New Orleans community -at every level of print experience and background- with affordable and accessible classes, workshops, technical demonstrations, youth programming, and fine art editioning. The Printshop will also be available for contract printing, proceeds of which will sustain our activities. The New Orleans Community Printshop strives to facilitate the growth of artists and small business owners in their creative practice.
Formerly running programming and classes at Louisiana Artworks, The Community Print shop is currently organizing classes with the Entergy Innovation Center for women who work with the center. Starting March 15th The New Orleans Community Print shop will be proud to offer weekly “Drop in night Screen-printing” again at Nowe Miasto – every Tuesday from 6-10 pm-, an artist-owned collective in Midcity.
Hope to see you all there!!!
