ALL IS FLUX MAY II
Opening Reception: Saturday, May 11, 2013, 6:00-9:00pm New Orleans Community Printshop & Darkroom Gallery 1201 Mazant Street New Orleans, LA 70117 All is Flux is a collaborative show between Amanda LaPlaca and Forrest Reiff. Inspired by Heraclitus’s theory, All is Flux, the collaborative show evolved with constant experimentation throughout it’s conception and creation. Amanda and Forrest mixed and matched their individual, handmade symbols to create prints of interwoven patterns onto cloth and various surfaces. With those prints and additional batiking and printing experiments, they pieced together a saturated, stimulating sanctuary. The transformed space is intended to surround one in a prismatic, psychedelic-like world; it contains connected and tented printed cloth, hanging and reflective mobiles and playful projections with changing imagery and lights. All is Flux attempts to transport one to the ever-changing sensational maximum.
Open Shop Canceled
Due to problems with our water, we will be unable to run open shop this evening, Thursday May 2nd. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any reserved screens, they will be held till next Tuesday.
We hope to see you on Tuesday and look forward to working with you at that time.

and will have a closing show Thursday, March 28th.
